Archive of the Comet Photo AG: ca. 1 million photographs on various subjects, mainly focussing on Switzerland from 1952 to 1999 (about 90,000 aerial photographs).

Photo documents from estates: various scientific domains (mainly engineering and natural science) from the end of the 19th century onwards.

Collection of portraits: portraits of professors, also of students of the ETH since 1855, as well as of scientists from all over the world.
